This is a leadership and governance volunteer role for someone who wants to influence real community impact at the systems level. St. Leonard’s Place Peel supports men experiencing serious mental illness and homelessness, including individuals who have had involvement with the justice system. As a board member, you help guide the organization’s strategy and ensure strong oversight in areas like policy development, financial processes, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The commitment includes attending about 10 board meetings per year in Brampton and serving on at least one committee, plus supporting longer-term planning work. They welcome people with experience in fundraising, governance, finance, government relations, and integrated service delivery.
